Simplifying installation while providing high-performance insulation
The Springvale range of UFH systems provide the dual benefits of excellent thermal insulation values with fast and easy installation of underfloor heating pipes.
The range comprises Gridshield: a high strength EPS board bonded to a tough woven polypropylene membrane; Grooveshield: a high strength EPS board grooved for use in conjunction with metal spreader plates; Pipeshield: a moulded EPS panel with selfadjusting castellations.
Springvale UFH systems are suitable for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications including solid concrete floors, suspended beam and block floors, suspended timber floors and suspended Beamshield Plus ground floor systems.
Several grades of EPS can be supplied to meet different compressive strength requirements (EPS 70, EPS 100, EPS 150 and EPS 200). Grooveshield and Gridshield are also available in high-performance Platinum EPS.
Platinum is an EPS board which incorporates a graphite component called Neopor ®, manufactured by BASF, to provide significantly improved thermal insulation performance, for example, to achieve higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes or just to improve SAP ratings.
To provide a full complement of products within the UFH range, a range of polyethylene edge strips are also available.
